I tried the Downingtown location of Downtown Thrift and was immediately excited for such a cool store to enter this area. My goal was to feel it out and look for Easter Basket inspiration for my 3 young girls. Had I been shopping for me I saw some eclectic treasures that I’d love to have. But the great thing about this store is it’s originality! I filled their baskets with seed cards that you plant, grow your own tree kits (hello spring themes!) yummy candies, shower soaps, chakra stones and elephant dung stationary (by far the biggest conversation piece!). By the way theres a bonsai tree growing in my fridge right now . And all at the right price. I’m really excited to go back and shop for myself. They have spots in the store that feature local wares like soaps and candles. Everything is cleverly arranged and there is an organic feel like a flea market at a friends house. The staff is super fun and helpful. Just wanted to give them a shout out and welcome them and encourage others to explore! Love this place! So needed in our area!

Just stumbled on this store today by chance and couldn't be happier I did. Linda is so talented with the way she re-does the various pieces and staging everything together, I ended up staying in there for about an hour just having fun talking to her and looking at everything. Not only is everything really beautiful and unique, but her prices were so reasonable I was shocked. I can't wait to go back!

Wow! The Downingtown store is a feast for your eyes and scents! Wherever you look there is something really cool and different. Linda the owner has a talent of placing her items so perfectly that if you walk out without buying something, you didn't walk all the way though the store! Also visit regularly because the inventory constantly changes!

If you think you will just do a quick in and a quick out when visiting this wonderful shop.....think again. There are too many special and unique items to see and purchase that you will not want to leave in any kind of rush. And, once you meet the store owner, Linda, you will feel like you have known her all your life. Stop in and see if I'm right.
